Create Little Rock

Our very own Chris Marsh is the chair of this new committee within the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. If interested, details for membership & its launch below.

Create Little Rock, the Little Rock Regional Chamber's new talent initiative, will officially launch on Thursday, January 28, 2010. Presented by Entergy Arkansas, the event will be held in the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center Ballroom from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Featured guest will be Academy Award-winning filmmaker and Little Rocker-by-choice Ray McKinnon ("Deadwood," "O Brother, Where Art Thou").

To become a member of Create Little Rock, click here, complete and submit the online application. Membership, which runs through 2010, is $35 for representatives of Chamber member business/organizations and $50 for representatives of prospective Chamber members.

Lost & Found: The Lost Son

Scripture: Luke 15: 11-32

This Sunday we will conclude our Lost & Found sermon series by looking at the famous parable of the Prodigal Son. I encourage you to read this parable, not through the lens of the sons willingness to travel home, but the fathers willingness to journey toward the son.

Haiti Health Kits

Tonight, we collected and organized 108 Haiti Health Kits. Props to Chris Marsh for being a wonderful host and chef. It was a great night, and time well spent.
